ACWF Holds Meeting for Presidents of Provincial-Level Women's Federations to Study the Spirit of CPC Plenum

The All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) convened a meeting in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang Province, on November 27, for presidents of the women's federations of provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions to study and implement the spirit of the sixth plenary session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
Shen Yueyue, Vice-Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and President of the ACWF, spoke at the meeting.
Shen stressed studying the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the sixth plenary session and the spirit of the plenum, following the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and uniting women to rally closely around the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core.
The women's federations were urged to strengthen guiding, serving and contacting women, and to guide women to follow the Party's leadership and contribute to realizing the second centenary goal of building China into a great modern socialist country in all respects and the Chinese dream of national rejuvenation.
The meeting called for greater efforts from the women's federations in giving full play to their advantages, extensively carrying out learning and education of the plenum's spirit at the grassroots level, and deepening Party history learning and education.
The meeting also urged doing practical work for women, further implementing the Women's Action for Scientific and Technological Innovation and the Women's Action for Rural Revitalization, promoting the building of family, family education and family traditions, promoting the law on family education, caring for women and families in need, and greeting the opening of the 20th CPC National Congress with outstanding achievements.
Huang Xiaowei, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and Vice-President and First Member of the Secretariat of the ACWF, presided over the meeting.
